Late autumn of 1928, the Nationalist government continued the bloody crackdown on the communist, a 24 year old revolutionist arrived at Shanghai. He was Deng Xiaoping who had been assigned with a near impossible task - to evacuate the party's central committee. The mission accomplished with the price of losing many close comrades, among them, the woman he was in love with.
